Why should I participate?
Did I have to take a class in buyouts or even Finance to submit a proposal?
No. Case Competition is open to ALL undergraduates with a strong interest in private equity transactions.
How many people can I work with?
All interested students should form teams of 2 to 4 students.
Each team should decide on a team name and designate one member as the team leader.
All submissions and communication should be conducted by the team leader.
What are the materials that I need to prepare for submission?
To participate in the competitions, all teams must first register as soon as possible by submitting their team name and members to
. Early registration is encouraged so teams have ample time to prepare for round one of the competitions. For the first round, teams are required to submit a one page executive summary to
by Friday, April 9, 2010. If you are among the top 8 teams that will be selected to participate in the Final Round on Thursday, April 22, your team is expected to perform a detailed LBO valuation of the target company and prepare a case report and presentation.
